and Head, Department of Plant
Pathology, CCSHAU, Hisar, had
been a visiting Professor to the
University of Alberta, Edmonton,
Canada, Agriculture Canada, Saskatoon,
and Rothamsted, IACR, Harpenden,
U.K. He has more than 200 research
papers in journals of national
and international repute; 25 review
articles in books, monographs
on White rust, Alternaria blight,
Downy mildew diseases of rapeseed-mustard
and Sclerotinia diseases of crops;
three books and three biblio-graphies.
He is one of the specialists to
contribute in the release of Crop
Protection Compendium, 2002, CAB
International, U.K. He had been
President of Indian Phytopathological
Society (NZ) during 2001 and Editor-in-Chief
of Indian Society of Mycology
and Plant Pathology (1999-2002). |
