Dr.
R.M. Verma has been an applied psychologist
by academic qualifications as well as by professional
training and experience. He has worked as a clinician
in the field of mental health, and published researches
in clinical psychology which have been warmly received
in the profession. Besides, he has taught this subject
of his special interest in universities and professional
institutions outside India for a fairly long time.
Abnormal Psychology: A Framework is his second
book published in English language, the first being
on Clinical Psychology which has been adopted
as a textbook by several universities in India.
