 About the book...

Nature has endowed India with a rich biological diversity. Both animals and plants are found in a wide variety of habitats which range from the wet tropical rainforests of the very heavy rainfall zone to the thorny forests of the desert zone and the mixed temperate coniferous forests of the hills. This book describes India?s biological diversity and the measures to conserve it. The book should serve as a handy reference guide on the subject.
