 About the author...

Prof. Sristidhar Dutta, former Dean, faculty of social sciences, and former Head, Department of History is currently. Professor of History of Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, Arunachal Predesh. He was also the General Secretary of the North-East India History Association for two terms. He is a member of several academic organisations and institutions. Besides authoring six books, Prof. Dutta has contributed more than sixty research articles in different regional and national journals and edited volumes.

Dr. Byomakesh Tripathy, Reader and currently Head of the Department of History of Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, is an erudite scholar and specializes in Ancient Indian History and Culture and the History of North-East India. He is a member of serveral academic organizations. Dr. Tripathy has two books to his credit and his contributed more than forty research papers in different research journals and edited volumes.
