 About the author...
Dr. Badar A. Iqbal is Reader in the Department of commerce, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has written 7 books on international trade, foreign direct investment and agro-industrial development of India. He has been a visiting research fellow at institute of developing economics, Tokyo and German institute for Economic research, Berlin. He has contributed 40 papers in foreign jounals and more than 100 papers in Indian journals. He has attended amny national and international conferences and symposia. Very recently Dr. Iqbal has attended XV workshop or research guides sponsored by American Studies Research Centre, Hyderabad. Now he is working on "US FDI flows to south asia" on ford foundation grant at American Studies Research Centre, Hyderabad.
