This
book explores the in-depth trends and structure of
India's trade relations with Japan. The focus of analysis
here is on overall growth, instability, diversification
and elasticity of trade. In view of the increasing
Japanese involvement in various aspects of Indian
development, this book provides very exhaustive analysis
of the pattern of export and import between the two
countries. Bilateral trade relations have also been
studied with the help of terms of trade calculations.
Several policy implications follow from this study.
The book should prove useful to students, researchers
and policy-framers.
